Salesforce Adds New RPA Tools To Einstein Automate Portfolio

Salesforce is adding novel robotic process automation capabilities to its Einstein Automate platform, the portfolio of tools that help organizations automate processes, build workflows, and connect data. The three new low-code features are designed to help all of Salesforce’s customers use such tools to automate manual processes and better integrate data across systems. Einstein Automate, which was launched last December, is a portfolio of workflow automation, integration, digital interactions, and AI capabilities embedded across the Salesforce Platform; the new products include MuleSoft RPA (Robotic Process Automation), Einstein Document Reader, and Digital Process Automation.

MuleSoftRPA’s capabilities will replace repetitive tasks with bots that can intelligently process documents, enter data, or take action on the user’s behalf, all without code. The product is a result of MuleSoft’s early-September purchase of Servicetrace, combining the former’s API-building tools with the latter’s legacy automation capabilities. The Einstein Document Reader tool lets the user scan documents such as driver’s licenses and I-9s and take action on that data with just a few clicks in Salesforce Flow, reducing human error and improving accuracy. Digital Process Automation enables customers to build branded digital experiences quickly with drag-and-drop tools that empower business users to define automation rules and logic, as well as extract information from documents and integrate it into automated workflows without writing code.
