Thoma Bravo-Backed Condeco and iOFFICE + SpaceIQ Merge to Form Eptura

As employees continue to return to the office in greater numbers, workplace technology is even more important than it was before the pandemic. With that in mind, two Thoma Bravo-backed companies are merging to open new opportunities in the hybrid work landscape. Condeco, a leading provider of workspace scheduling solutions, is joining forces with iOFFICE + SpaceIQ, the two-in-one workplace experience and asset management provider. iOFFICE and SpaceIQ previously merged in 2021, and with the addition of Condeco, a new venture is born — Eptura, a “global worktech company.”

With professionals around the world now regularly working from multiple locations, office solutions need an increasing level of flexibility and adaptability. According to data from Kastle Systems, a security management firm, office occupancy in the U.S. was only at just over 47% by Labor Day, even though most companies long ago allowed their employees to return to the office.

Eptura’s offerings comprise a wide variety of dynamic office solutions that enable everything from enhanced collaboration to improved asset management. Its initial leadership team will be governed by CEO Brandon Holden, the chief executive of iOFFICE + SpaceIQ, and the Atlanta-based company will employ more than 1,000 worldwide and serve 16,000 companies, including Slack, Zoom, and Nasdaq.
