Velo3D Appoints Hull Xu as CFO and Michelle Sidwell as CCO

Velo3D, a leading metal additive manufacturing technology company, has announced significant changes to its leadership structure. Hull Xu has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer, bringing over 15 years of corporate finance experience in the technology sector. He replaces Bernard Chung, who served as acting CFO. Xu's extensive background includes roles at Cepton, Inc. and prominent financial institutions such as Royal Bank of Canada, Barclays Capital, and GE Capital. Additionally, Michelle Sidwell, Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Business Development, has been named Chief Commercial Officer, tasked with overseeing sales, marketing, customer service, and business development. This reorganization aims to enhance organizational efficiency and responsiveness to customer feedback.
