In 2018 alone, Everbridge’s software sent over 2.8 billion messages.
More specifically, Everbridge automates and accelerates an organization’s operational response to critical events. Think of public safety threats such as active shooter situations, terrorist attacks or severe weather conditions. The likelihood of one of these occurrences is unpredictable, hence, over 4,500 global customers rely on Everbridge’s Critical Event Management Platform.
Needless to say, the company has to continuously evolve its technology to keep up with the pace of change in technology and/or tactics that bad actors may employ. Everbridge has been active in acquiring sophisticated technologies. Its latest pickup is NC4, which it purchased for $83 million in early August 2019.

Everbridge is a dominant player in the threat management space and for good reason. With this latest acquisition along with prior ones, it will undoubtedly continue to provide more peace and mind to its customers worldwide.
