According to Zylo’s website, its customer base includes 300,000 unique SaaS user licenses and over $1 billion in SaaS spend. The company promises to give executives real time insights into software subscription performance. Zylo also endeavors to identify all SaaS applications that are used across a company, minimize risk and manage cost
Zylo’s client base includes tech industry leaders including Salesforce, Microsoft Office 365, Slack, G Suite by Google Cloud, GitHub, Zendesk, Zoom and Onelogin. The company received $9.3 million in Series A funding from a group led by Bessemer Ventures Partners and including Slack Fund, Rise of the Rest Seed fund and Salesforce Ventures.
Okta is an industry leader in the cloud-based identity management sector. According to its website, the company offers software solutions to help any client connect with any application on any device. A single user can enter a single password to gain access to all of her web applications, for example. Applications remain behind the firewall and in the cloud. The company was founded in January of 2009 and is headquartered in San Francisco.
According to the terms of the integration, Zylo software will have access to all company data generated when users access Okta’s identity management platform. Clients will then be able to use the data from this integration to generate resources such as usage reports and license insights and formulate actionable strategies from those.
The announcement was made at Okta’s annual customer conference, Oktane16, held in Las Vegas.
